To Kill A Fly

I hate lalat who flies around the house and langgar cermin cam bodoh.

           Why am I listening to malay songs these past few nights. Dahla dengar malam-malam. Lepas tu kena label jiwang. Just because ia lagu melayu. Mendayu-dayu. Pedih. Perit. Then aku Tukar angin. Dengar pula lagu indonesia. Ya Ampun. Larut! Larut!. Ditelan cinta gayanya. Tenggelam dalam lautan asmara. Bila dengar lagu indon, one of the side effects is the urge to be 'love' or 'in love'. Thats why the Indonesians love deep. Cinta mati. Respect. I respect that.
              Sebelum terjebak dengan lagu gerek seh ni, I was downloading a bunch of 80's 90's epic love songs. Songs where mama and abah suddenly do a glee when it comes out on the radio or anywhere. Barry Manilow, Chicago, Bee Gees, Diana Ross, Scorpions. And I was hitting repeat on Police 'every breath you take' for quite sometimes. I do grew up on 'light and easy' in the car. And lagu-lagu inggeris lama ni, surprisingly I know and remember the lyrics to it. I guess kena brainwash dari kecik. But its good songs compare to the now which most of it sounds like crap.
                 Berbalik kepada lagu 'jiwang' melayu. Aku hereby mengaku, I can already sing Alyah kisah hati. Lagu tu buat aku terasa. Range pun terbaik. Menusuk bak kata someone. Then tiba-tiba bila flipping youtube, I click on rossa. Man, menyesal. Menyesal. Rossa really did it with 'aku bukan untukmu'. Dulu nyanyi saja-saja but now I feel you man. I feel you. The lirik is spot on sampai terasa kiri kanan depan belakang.





* Sebenarnya aku agak jiwang. But tak tunjuk dengan kata-kata or perilaku pelik seperti post up status-status hanyut di laman sosial. I am not that kinda girl. But dalam hati ada taman tema air.
