Anti-discrimination Geng

I went to the workshop thinking maybe we will discuss about melayu cina india kaum kaum kaum isu. But i was wrong. I thought i know what is discrimination and racism. But i was wrong again. I may look brave but deep down, this "isu sensitif" buat aku takut. Actually ia buat aku sangat takut.  But I am not anymore.

          The anti-discrimination workshop was a revelation. It was like a dive in a pool of icy cold water and i came out new.clean. and DAMN focus. The module of the workshop was simple yet creative. This is the first bengkel/kem/etc yang sangat membuka minda aku sebagai seorang individu. We went there as an individual with opinions, thoughts and perceptions. We kinda generate and fueled each other when we spoke out. We dared challenge not only for others to think but to me, this 2-days; we challenged our minds to be so wide open, the only time we stop thinking about it adalah bila kita tidur. Yes pening. Yes migrane. Yes its heavy. But if we do not think about this issue, then who will?
           Aku kagum dengan kisah hidup setiap individu yang pergi ke workshop itu. How they stand up as individual when they are being discriminated because of their race. Aku kagum dengan cara mereka voice out their opinions. They were brilliant expressing their point of view sampai aku rasa people like this are better than some "ibrahim ali" or UMN0-minded politician.Aku kagum dengan semangat mereka untuk mengubah Malaysia. I can't believe there are people out there who feels the same way about our country.
            So what do i think about this anti-discrimination workshop? Lets see. I am on fire(passion) to do things right .I made 28 new friends who are on fire as well. Now this 29 inspiring people will make a change. Hidup ini is too complex to think about yourself only. Memang aku berani cakap siapa yang tak pergi bengkel anti-diskriminasi ni sangat rugi. Dan aku berani cakap lagi, siapa yang ada peluang untuk pergi next time tetapi you choose to cancel or hangat-hangat tahi kambing je fikir lepas tu decided not to go pun, trust me...you are missing out on something really big......

*My last word to everyone in the circle was "The decision to come here was one of the best decisions of my life. I am now not afraid anymore sebab orang macam koranglah perisai aku."
